Whitlock’s Sheep Minnow Sunfish

$ 3.49 $ 1.75

Give me a break! What fish could not want to eat this streamer, it looks like candy and has a multitude of colors to attract big fish. It is made to look like a sunfish, but it does a halfway decent job of mimicking a brook trout. The grizzly hackle on the back end look a bit like scales and seem to help it look like a realistic minnow, no matter what kind of fish the trout think it is. Of course you could always use this sunfish color streamer fly for bass fishing as well.

These are not technically trout flies, but they do work for sure. They are made to replicate sunfish and originally used for bass fishing. They have an array of colors on them that tend to really trigger strikes on some days. I have had quite a bit of success catching big browns with this pattern.
